Plan the Character
Start with a clear character angle: announcer, nervous contestant, calm narrator, low-budget villain or another original concept. A focused idea makes the pack easier to record and easier to describe.
- 1Write a one-sentence voice direction.
- 2List the moments the game needs: intro, prompt, reaction, score and outro.
- 3Avoid direct impressions of protected characters unless you have permission.
Record Clean Audio
Record in a quiet room, leave a few seconds of silence at the start and keep levels consistent. Clean source audio matters more than heavy effects.
Edit and Normalize
Trim long silences, keep volume consistent and follow the folder structure the game already accepts. Use the Pack Validator after packaging to catch common ZIP and metadata issues before sharing.
Package the Files
- 1Create a folder with the pack name.
- 2Place clips in a consistent audio folder.
- 3Add metadata or notes if the game version expects them.
- 4Zip the folder without adding unrelated project files.
Test Before Sharing
Install your ZIP like a normal player would, launch the game and preview several clips. If anything is too loud, too quiet or mislabeled, fix it before publishing.
